Working Principle & Key Benefits

A vibrating motor is a standard AC induction motor fitted with eccentric masses at both shaft extensions. As the shaft rotates, these unbalanced weights generate a centrifugal force that produces circular vibration, transmitted through the motor frame to the mounted equipment. Vibration frequency is determined by motor speed – 4-pole units operate at approximately 1,440 RPM (24 Hz) and 2-pole units at 2,880 RPM (48 Hz). Amplitude is adjusted by repositioning the eccentric weights, fully field-adjustable without specialist tooling.

Consistent, stable vibration output across the full duty cycle.

Sealed cast-iron construction delivers reliable service in high-dust and high-humidity conditions.

Suitable for pharmaceutical, food, chemical, mineral, and recycling industry applications.

IE3 energy efficiency reduces long-term operating costs.

Common sizes held ex-stock in Chennai for rapid despatch.

Full compliance documentation - BIS IS:12615, SASO 2893, and ATEX certification available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Send us your specifications for a customised quotation.

What is the vibrating motor price in India?

Vibrating motor price India varies considerably depending on power rating, pole configuration, enclosure rating, and IE3 certification. A small bin vibrator drive is priced very differently from a heavy-duty mining screen motor. For an accurate vibro motor price aligned to your specific kW rating, mounting requirement, and operating environment, contact our sales team directly. We provide a formal, itemised quotation within 24 working hours.

To buy vibrating motor from Vibro Flux, provide the required centrifugal force or static moment (in kgf.cm or N.m), operating frequency (24 Hz or 48 Hz), power supply (415V 3-phase 50 Hz standard), enclosure rating, and quantity. We issue a formal quotation within 24 working hours of receiving your enquiry.

Yes. Our range includes ATEX Zone 21/22 rated versions for dust-explosion risk environments. All Vibro Flux motors are fully compliant with SASO 2893 for Saudi Arabia and GCC markets, with documentation ready for CE marking and BIS IS:12615 audit requirements.

Yes. Vibro Flux motors are suitable as direct replacements for most makes and models. Provide the frame size, mounting hole pattern dimensions, shaft diameter, required centrifugal force, and operating voltage from the failed motor’s nameplate. Our technical team will confirm the correct replacement model and check ex-stock availability in Chennai. For urgent requirements, same-week despatch is available on common 1.1 kW – 3.7 kW sizes.

A vibrating motor is a modified induction motor with eccentric (unbalanced) weights fitted to both shaft extensions. These weights generate centrifugal vibration transmitted to the mounting structure during operation. Standard induction motors are precision-balanced to minimise vibration. Vibrating motors are additionally built with reinforced shaft bearings, sealed to IP65 minimum, and rated for high-vibration continuous-duty cycles that standard motors are not designed to withstand.
