Vibratory Furnace Charger
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Vibro Flux vibratory furnace charger is engineered to deliver accurate, vibration-controlled feeding of scrap metal and raw materials into induction furnaces, electric arc furnaces, and other high-temperature melting systems. Designed for demanding foundry and steel manufacturing environments, the equipment ensures a continuous and controlled material flow, helping operators maintain stable melting conditions while improving process efficiency.
Unlike manual or batch charging methods, the system regulates the charging rate to minimise material bridging, reduce furnace splash, and optimise melt cycles. Manufactured using heavy-duty fabricated steel, the furnace charger is suitable for handling scrap metal, pig iron, DRI pellets, and other metallic feedstock. Vibro Flux is among the limited number of specialised Indian manufacturers producing high-performance furnace charging equipment, with successful installations across major foundry hubs including Rajkot, Coimbatore, Kolhapur, Belgaum, and Howrah.

Key benefits
Working Principle
& Benefits
The vibratory furnace charger uses one or two vibrating motors mounted on a fabricated trough to generate controlled oscillations that move charging materials steadily into the furnace. The feed rate is adjusted through eccentric weight settings and a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), allowing operators to synchronise material flow with the furnace melting rate for safe and efficient charging.

Frequently Asked Questions
Get expert guidance on selecting a furnace charging machine.
What materials can the Vibro Flux vibratory furnace charger handle?
The system is designed to process ferrous scrap, pig iron, DRI pellets, cast iron returns, aluminium scrap, copper ingots, brass, and other metallic charging materials. The trough design and vibration settings are customised according to the material’s bulk density and flow characteristics.
Is the equipment compatible with Electrotherm and Inductotherm furnaces?
Yes. Vibro Flux systems are engineered to integrate with Electrotherm, Inductotherm, and other major induction furnace manufacturers. Customers can provide their furnace specifications during the enquiry stage for configuration verification.
How does a vibratory furnace charger differ from a scrap basket charging system?
A vibratory charging system delivers material continuously through controlled vibration, whereas scrap baskets discharge material in large batches. Controlled feeding reduces furnace splash, minimises thermal shock to the refractory lining, improves process stability, and provides better control over the melting cycle.
